Frequently Asked Questions

Returns and Exchanges

Do you offer exchanges?

We don't offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind purchases. But if your head is full of gossip or forbidden knowledge, so the hats don't fit, we'll happily give you store credit or a refund.

Are returns free?

One day! But as a new business, it's just not feasible yet. If there's an issue with the product like a broken clasp, shoot me a message via our contact forms with a picture, and I'll send you a replacement.

Not just yet! Chaotic Critters just launched, so I need to work out all the tax and definitely-enjoyable-maths stuff first. Stay tuned!

How long do I need to wait for shipping? My noggin is being burnt!

Are these human-made designs?

Yes! All of the designs are made by me. No AI involved. Just a guy whose psyche was formed through years of enjoying memes.

Are your hats one size fits all?

They fit most. The baseball hats can be adjusted, and the bucket hats are... bucket hat size. They're adult sizes, but fun enough to motivate your kids to grow into them.

I went goblin mode and got *insert substance* on my hat, how do I clean it?

I really don't like the sound of that.

You can hand-wash with medium hot water and a light amount of laundry detergent. Avoid wringing them because they may lose their shape.

There are special protectors out that that let you use the washing machine, but be careful.*

*Take the hat off first - have a shower like a normal human. Or pretend to be one.

Where are your products manufactured?

I design everything myself here in Newcastle, but the hats themselves are manufactured in China.

My partners are compliant with the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI), which ensures ethical labour practices and social compliance in global supply chains. That includes things like a fair wage, good work conditions and environmental practices.

I'd love to make them in Australia, but at over $35 in costs, I wouldn't even be able to afford 2-minute noodles. And no cool hats for you.
